hot brown sugah opens her trap yet again

if i noticed it, then its terrible.

so much for being a native english speaking country.
so much for looking down on asians who can't pronounce their english words well.
so much for criticising the silly little mistakes that asians make in their speech.
so much for being (or trying to be rather!) all superior in their own language.

i spotted a grammatical error in The Sydney Morning Herald today (29th of June 2006. i haven't slept the whole day la).

me, the very blur and generally "huh? what happenned" person, spotted an error on the first article i read on SMH. chet! *up yours u bunch of ignorant fools* its a humongous deal if i spot any silly mistakes hokay. i make tonnes of silly mistakes too but this is just so bad (coz I noticed it).

i didn't manage to read the other articles coz the moment i saw the mistake, i sneered and bitched about it so much to the dad till we reached central. then, i left the papers at the indian restaurant in the middle of sydney's red light district.
(yes, yes, i went to kings cross with the dad. we were there to collect the rented car eh! not to go to porky's).

so, if there're anymore 'native' english speaking people out there who can't stop bitching about the poor engrish we asians have, time to take a look at your own reflection isn't it?

i think, if it were to be an ST journalist who made a silly mistake like that in SPH, that journalist'll get fired (even before the article's publishe coz i'm damn sure the editors will spot them).
